1. Dining in the dark

Dining in the dark is a rare restaurant where customer uses their senses to discover the foods without seeing them. Inside the restaurant is all dark you could not see anything else. This restaurant is very popular and worldwide. Today there are more than 20 restaurants all around the world.

2. Jok kitchen / Jok-Toh-Deaw

Jok kitchen is one of the famous restaurants in China Town (Yao-Wa-Rat Rd)

The strange thing about this restaurant is they only serve for 1 table per day. A lot of people wonder how could they survive if they sere 1 table per day. It is a ten courses recommended by the chef and the price is 10,000 per table. Believe it or not, this restaurant requires one month reservation.

3. Hajime Robot

Hajime robot is a buffet shabu and grilled Japanese restaurant. This restaurant is a unique and modern restaurant in shopping mall. First, customer will order menu from the computer that has been installed in every tables. Then the robot will serve you the foods. After serving, the robot will perform a dance routine called Gamnung-Style.

4. Flying Vegetable (Pak-Boong-Loy-Fah)

Pak-Boong-Loy-Fah is a Thai local restaurant in downtown Pattya.  The chef will cook morning-glory vine fried in garlic, chili and bean sauce. What makes it so special is the chef will throw it across the street, and a waiter will catches it on a plate and serves it to you. This restaurant is one of the tourist attractions in Pattaya.

The Purr Cat Café is a café for cat lovers. The café divided into many rooms, the first room is for cats to play. In Another room is for the owner of the cat who wants to relax on a comfy couch, sip aroma coffee and enjoy delicious cake. The café also provides hotel rooms for cat to stay over night when its owner is away. The café has a big playground and garden for cat to walk and play. The concept came from Japan, where most people who do not have enough space to have pets.

6. Maggie Choo

The new bar and restaurant with a Hong-Kong gangster interior concept designed by Ashley Sutton. Inside Maggie Choo you will see a pattern of old Shanghai’s style, old Chinese painting and old huge iguana cage in the middle of the restaurant. The ceiling is decorated with Chinese’s paper umbrella. Maggie Choo will give you a sense of mystery feeling that cover up with a magical charm that is hard to forget.

7. Somtum Yok Kok

Somtum or papaya salad is a simple dish in Thailand normally somtum will serve in a normal dish, but this restaurant is more special than any somtum in Thailand because they serve you a somtum with a kok known as a kitchenware to do the papaya salad

8. Khaokang Jek Pui

This restaurant doesn’t have a table! The customers have to queue to order the “Khao Raad Kang” then queue for the chair to sit and eat. Even this street food don’t have any table, people still wait for half an hour to order. The secret of this restaurant is warm rice mix with rich flavor of spices stew that palatable.

9. Ice-cream Mor Faai (Yod Sae)

Ice- cream that we know might be serve on a beautiful dish or a cone, but here at YodSae, they serve and ice-cream in a special pot. Pot is normally use to keep the soup warm or bold but at YodSae the pots are keep the ice-cream cold!! That’s weird. Moreover, YodSae ice-cream has a speacial flavor such as, Redbull, Yakult, and Beer

10. Marshall Noodle (Jom-Phon)

At Marshall Noodle there is a special menu call “kode kon kode sajai” which is a big dish noodle for 6-8 people to eat prices around 800 baht. This restaurant was opened for only six month and the idea was developed by owner, which he put fresh ingredients and make a different size of noodles. There are small sizes of noodles for individual prices about 200 to 300 baht.

11. Crepe pa chuey

Crepe Pa Chuey or Crepe Chard Na is a slowest crepe making by Pa Chuey. Pa Chuey means slow auntie and Crepe Chard Na means the next life crepe. The reason that why the name is so weird because it’s a slowest making that I’ve seen. Pa Chuey, the woman in the right picture, is a person who make the crepe. She will start making the first crepe at 10.00pm but before that the customers need to write down their name in front of Pa Chuey’s house in order to make the queue. There are more than 10 customers each day and some customers order more than 10 crepes. Pa Chuey usually use  10 minutes per 1 crepe. For people who don’t know where to wait, Pa Chuey have a waiting zone for her customers because mostly of her customers need to wait for hours for the crepe.

12. Kin I-tim Doo Kwai

Kin I-tim Doo Kwai means eating ice-cream while watching buffalo. This ice-cream shop located in Chonburi. There are many flavors you can choose such as melon, corn, ice-tea, and etc. After ordering ice-cream, you can go sit inside the shop which is an open air shop. The view around the shop is a green field with a lot of buffalos walking around. So, you can enjoy the ice-cream while watching buffalos walking.

Ba-Mee Jom Palung is a super noodle that locates in Yaowarat. There are 4 sizes of noodle you can order. Gun, the owner of this noodle shop with an age of 23, has a creative idea of making unique noodle. He upgraded the size of all the ingredients such as crab, fish, meat ball, fish ball, and etc. Within a year this noodle shop has become the most popular noodle shop..

Ice Bar is located in Pattaya, It’s a drinking bar with -5 degree. Everything inside is made of ice such as table, chair, bar, glass, wall, and etc. They have free coat for people to borrow for who don’t have their own coat. It opens in a limit of time, 1 period of time is 20 minutes and there are many round per 1 night.

The word Five represents the number of the important elements which are earth, wind, fire, water, and spirit. Also the food and drink are right on track with the solid mystical concept.
